We will contact you for further information with an estimate, and coordinate a schedule to complete the inspection. The estimate may vary from other inspections for reasons including square footage, outbuildings (buildings not part of the residence) that are not within the scope of inspection, or age of building, etc.

A typical inspection cost for a home that is 1500 to 2000 sq.ft. - $600 plus applicable taxes. Other fees may apply (i.e. travel and extended periods to complete an inspection).

Preferred start times of inspections are 9am or 1pm (or specific considerations), allowing for quality time per inspection, property characteristics (i.e. designs, home's mechanicals, and age) and time for client consultation.

Steps:

Contact us via booking form, specifying dates and times and property address
Wait for consultation and or confirmation (usually within a few hours), of dates and times from Marquis Home Inspections
Signing of a contract and payment
See you at the property on the date/times confirmed

Hi and welcome!

I’m Terry Marquis, owner of Marquis Home Inspections.

I am a graduate of Carson Dunlop, and licensed by Consumer Protection B.C.(CPBC #86836) and associate member of the Home Inspectors Association of B.C.(HIABC), I am an inspector who believes in giving my clients the best service possible, I inspect every home as if it were my own.(Business license #0005696)

With over 40 years of retail customer service and management experience, including home improvement retail, while contracting my own personal custom homes, I often reflect to my childhood and remember the experiences with my father, J.P.Marquis, a master in the post and beam construction and carpentry fields, focused on quality and longevity in the homes he built.

I also look for those qualities in every home I inspect, with superior customer service, integrity, and dedication to continued advancement in the inspection industry's skills and education.
